They are all a bit corny but I think the one I've said the most recently would be I'm as happy as a clam. I don't think I've ever heard someone say I'm as happy as a king.

I'm the king of the world was said a bit because it was al in from the movie Titanic, but even that's a little dated.

Being outdated myself, if I say something is outdated, well, then it's probably ancient. :)

Probably the one I would say, being a bit prone to swearing, is I'm happy as a pig in shit. Maybe we just used to say that in NY more? It's not something you want to say if you are trying to impress anyone or if you around children or on a job interview. Actually.... don't ever say it! You might hear it though. :)

Dorothy - Thanks a lot for explalnations...

What about these ones: I,m as happy as a sandboy!

                                    I,m over the moon!

Thanks a lot for correction! Oh... it is a pity that this sentence is old-fashioned and that it is not in use anymore.

I will write again... When was the last time that you uttered this wonderful sentence?

I,m as happy as a clam.

I,m as happy as King.

I,m as happy as a bug in a rug.

When it has been last time, when was the last time (that) you have uttered this wonderful sentence?

Haha! Here, in the US, this is very dated (old-fashioned, quaint) expression, and not one we're used to hearing or saying, except maybe as a form of sarcasm. Personally, I've never said it, but I can imagine someone like Audrey Hepburn using this expression in the 1950s. :)
