What is the most beautiful verses of favorite poems?

What is far?
For a man like me who lives far from his own self
How far could the destination point be?
My head is uncovered, my hair
is split into two at the middle.
Whichever country I pass through
the tattoos on my temples will betray me.
They will call me brave and honorable,
in fact I am silent and sad.

I love everything about that poem.  It's my favorite!

I also like "The More Loving One" by W. H. Auden.  My favorite verse is:

How should we like it were stars to burn
With a passion for us we could not return?
If equal affection cannot be,
Let the more loving one be me.

One of my favourites is this poem by Pablo Neruda....

I like you when you are quiet because it is as though you are absent,
and you hear me from far away, and my voice does not touch you.
It looks as though your eyes had flown away
and it looks as if a kiss had sealed your mouth...

If you think it long and mad,
the wind of banners
that passes through my life,
and you decide
to leave me at the shore
of the heart where I have roots,
remember
that on that day,
at that hour,
I shall lift my arms
and my roots will set off
to seek another land.

his poems are for chile revolution but so creative :)

"I love her & she loves me

and her camel loves mine"

Your question makes me remember this movie:

"What will your verse be?"
