Italki is a beautiful language learning website where almost anybody should feel comfortable as she is learning English, and thus, hateful words should never be used here.   I think it is important for English learners to know what word is the most hateful word which has ever been used in the English language, and that word happens to be the "N" word.

A discussion gets removed off of italki for one of the following violations of the italki Community Guidelines, which is in accordance with the report concern box that appears when an italki user clicks on the flag icon that appears on the lower right corner of each comment box.

Violations include: spam (advertisements), harassment, hate speech, sexual content, political or religious discussions, intellectual property violations, threats, impersonation or misrepresentation, phishing, privacy violations, fraud, and more. 

If you were inquiring about a racist word, then I suppose most people here would consider this to be hate speech.

There is fossil and DNA evidence which proves that our most recent common human ancestor lived in central Africa some few hundred thousand years ago.  We are all Africans!  :)

Why do they have to remove a question, they asked questions because bassically they don't have any idea about the subject that they asked,they just willing to know about it. Don't they think about that.

Italki always deletes a lot of questions and discussions here. Checking from discussion 77000 backwards, the following have been deleted:

...95, ...88, ...87, ...82, ...80, ...79, ...78, ...66, and so on.

However, those discussions can still be seen by their creators and the questions and discussions can be seen on people's profile. There is a question you asked which has been deleted, presumably because it was asking about a racist word, yet is still on your profile for everyone to see.

Also, italki seem very inconsistent about what they delete, so I guess as soon as anyone flags a question or discussion, it pretty much is guaranteed to be removed.

Matt, I have checked some topics you mentioned (cached pages)

76988... deleted becasue it contained personal Information, i.e., Skype ID 

Personal information like E-Mail address or Skype Id etc. can be posted in the profile as it is not public (cannot be searched through search engine). But these should not be posted in discussions etc. as these are public. I think the main Idea is to save the users from getting spam mails and requests.

Further, topics about relgion and politics and political uprising (Ukraine) and wars (Gaza) are not allowed. Notebook entries, on the other hand, can be written on variety of topics as people write these for correction purpose.
