Hi Marco,

Thanks for the recommendations.

The problem that I have is finding movies in Spanish with Spanish subtitles. For instance I get movies from Netflix. All the movies in English have an option for English subtitles, but the movies in Spanish rarely have the option for Spanish subtitles.

I find that I learn the most when I can listen to the movie in Spanish and read along with the Spanish subtitles.

Do have any suggestions? I think that if I could find a source for Spanish subtitles to Spanish films I would learn a lot faster.

Hi everyone!

I want to leave a link about a Chilean movie that is very good to practice Spanish, because is slow and have not many idioms (that it is very common in Chile). Also, it is the story of Violeta Parra, she was one the most important folklorists in America and founder of popular music in Chile.

I hope you like it!!

If anyone likes science fiction I just watched Ender's Game dubbed into Spanish with the Spanish subtitles. It was pretty well-done. It's rare for me to find something that I'm willing to watch so many times over but I had just finished both the original book and the play version that the author wrote acted out on tape so watching what the director and producers and actors etc. did with the material was fascinating for me. I watched it five times with and without subtitles in Spanish and once in English.

Being able to watch a movie with and without subtitles in Spanish not allowing yourself to watch the English version until you pretty much got everything for me was fantastic motivation with that particular movie.

I'm using La guerra de los clones which is a Star Wars cartoon on Netflix and like you suggested Marco, it really is useful.
