Evandro Russian isn't a poor country russian have poor persons is different, and with the weak economy and the sanctions that europe is doing are even worse.

With agreements that Ukraine is doing I think it will be better to go to ukraine. Especially because the members of the European Union can travel in space Schengen without Passport and visa only with the identity up to 90 days (some use passport as a safety measure). If I go to Ukraine I can stay 90 days, if I go to Russia I need visa :) so that is a small barrier. I don't know in case of Turkish.

K P You right in some aspects, if he want learn Russian and he go to Ukraine will be a little impossible because just in some parts people speak Russian or the most olds. The youngers (less than 16/15 years) normally don't learn Russian, besides that schools learn only Ukrainian. Almost of persons refuse speak Russian because tensions in the country exceptin the east.
While a Russian person normally speaks only Russian, a Ukrainian can speak Russian, Ukrainian and in some cases even understands Polish and Belarusian. Is much easy the accent Russian than the Ukrainian. The news and media in Ukraine are a little different from Russia and if you go to Ukraine you will in Europe, the political relations are different. If I need choose between Ukraine and Russia I will prefer Ukraine.
