Rhyming Chinese stories

Tonight, when I was reading my son his favourite bedtime story We're Going On A Bear Hunt, I got to thinking about Chinese childrens stories.

One of the things I love about so many English language childrens stories is how they often are written so they rhyme all the way through the book, and when you read them aloud it is almost like singing or reciting a poem. for example have a look at this extract from the above story.

We're going on a bear hunt.

We're going to catch a big one.

What a beautiful day.

We're not scared.

Uh oh grass.

Long wavy grass.

We can't go over it.
We can't go under it.
Oh no, we've got to go through it.

Swishy swashy

Swishy swashy

Swishy swashy.

We're going on a bear hunt.

We're going to catch a big one.

What a beautiful day.
We're not scared.

Uh oh, a river.

A deep cold river.

We can't go over it
We can't go under it
Oh no, we've got to go through it

Splash splosh

Splash splosh

Splash splosh

And the book continues in this ryhming style of writing through to the end.

They are so lovely to read aloud, but I was wondering do you have ryhming stories like this for children in Chinese? If so can you tell me a few titles that I can check out, please.

Thank you.

Most Chinese parents like their children to recite ancient poems. Chinese ancient poems alway rhyme that is an very important rule in the literature style.

My daughter is only five years old, but she has remembered many ancient poems.

霜and乡have the same final (ang).
