conversational patterns are different between couples

Today i read a passage. It said that men are likely to speak a lot in public, while women have a inclination to talking much at home. But they have different patterns in conversation so that women want their husbands to talk with them, while men do not like to talk. Consequently, it causes damages between couples, sometimes even has a bad effect on their marriage. So what is your opinion?  Conversation is really , really important?

@Hoang, thank you for your reply. Yeah, every has his own thoughts, feelings, and perspectives. and everyone should have. Maybe sometimes it is chanllenging for both of them to talk with each other, but personallyspeaking, in some circumstances, it is necessary for not noly couples, but also classmates, colleagues, roomates and so on. Because if we have no idea about others, it will cause troubles, such as discrepancy, quarrels, and other damages both psychally and mentally. So i think it is important to show our own ideas in our daily life. heheh...only my opinion.

Going into a conversation, there is only one reality that a person can be sure of: you can know what your own thoughts, feelings and perceptions are. You can be sure of nothing else: not the other person’s thoughts, feelings or perceptions; not even the reality of what is going on between the two of you.

The only thing that you and your partner each needs to bring to the conversation is something that each of you can be sure of: your own thoughts, feelings and perceptions. However, talking personally about yourself is often more challenging than you might think.
