Khaleed Hosseini - The Kite Runner

I don't have any single favorite. At the moment, I am rediscovering the series of police procedural novels written by Maj Sjöwall and Per Wahlöö. I read the first five of them back in the 1960s when they had only written five. For some reason, I forgot about them. They wrote five more. They are extremely good, and I think when I am finished with The Terrorists I am going to go right back and reread the first five, starting with Roseanna.
