How did the economic crisis affect your life?

I'm a college student under the economical umbrella of my parents and with very low social participation. So I cannot tell how my life is affected by the economic crisis.
Could you share with me How the economic crisis affected your life? It could be good or bad on your career, family, hobbies,dreams etc.
