Hi, everybody!
English is very important for me as a professional. Because as an IT guy I'm always is in contact with English-speaking people for getting new information in computer science, information security, for working with English-based information technology and information security solutions.
But here I see a lot of people from all over the world that are learning Russian. And I have never seen a Russian-speaking staff in foreign companies that we are working with.
So I have a question... Where do you use your Russian language and why are you learning it?
Thanks in advance for your answers!
because russia is one of the most strong countries and russia has a big economy so why shouldnt learn to russian
I am planning to continue my life in Russia, simply...
I started to learn Russian in order to boost the intercomprehension in a social setting of other Slavic people. By the way, it's simply beautiful
in my country there are a lot of russian working with thier companies and they hardly speak english or friench and I'm working with them too so it will be easy to communicate with them in addtion to this I traveled to russia and it was very hard to communicate with people there and everything was written in Russian language that complicated my visit there , and I'm planing to revisit russia because I have a lot of friends there
thank you
There are many reasons:
-one of the most spoken languages
-lots of books (litterature and others) written in it
-lots of films
-easy to find material to read/watch/listen
-business relations (many big firms have russian partners and/or clients)
-many tourists around the world
-interesting culture
-big country, always in the news
