Yes i think so
Yes. I believe it can be a factor in a student's inability to concentrate or to remain awake during the school day. Also, a lack of sleep can cause similar issues.
When I was in middle school and high school I hardly ever received enough sleep due to having to wake up very early. I was also in the habit of starting off the day with sugary cereals which would cause me to become very tired after the sugar wore off. Later on, in high school, I stopped eating so much sugar in the morning but I made the mistake of not eating breakfast at all which causes other problems.
My grades were much better in college and I enjoyed the experience much more. For a long time I thought that it was because I preferred attending classes at night (which is true), but in retrospect I think that had more to do with my having had enough sleep and a decent meal before I went to class.
I think it is possible. But mostly I think there are other causes for this problem. Why do you think it is connected?
