I AIN'T CHARLIE BUT... flashback on what happened in the capital city of my country.

Today, is a sad day, for Paris, for France and for the world too.
This morning in Paris 11ème, 2 or 3 men attacked the editorial staff of the news paper "CHARLIE HEBDO". I don't have a lot of time to write but these acts are acts of terrorism. These terrorists shot more than 15 people and they killed 12 of them, some were journalists, drawers of Charlie Hebdo and 2 policemen.
Let's talk about the reason why I won't say "I'm Charlie"(Je suis Charlie).
First, to be clear I don't agree and I'm totally opposed to the fact of killing other people, the human race has to walk together.
The 4 people who were principally spotted to be shot down today were controversial drawers, they used to tickle the limits of respect of other religions. These drawers were smart so they knew what they were doing like I know they are extremists in the whole world in all the cultures and religions including mine, to them deal with this subjects that are subjects causing wars in some places in the world are a permitted in France by the freedom of the press or thought. They had been criticized in 2011-2012 because of some really controversial illustrations they had done then their offices had been burned down. Nevertheless they never stopped to express what they were thinking without any personal censorship.
Today they died, I'd better say they were murdered with an extreme violence, due to their credit to continue to fight to express their ideas, but other people who were not involved in this struggle died too.
That's why I'm not, I ain't (-like you dear English speakers used to say-) Charlie.

Are you saying they had it coming because they didn't censor themselves? I didn't know the French were supposed to live by Sharia law in their own country.

Similarly motivated attacks around the world occur at the rate of about 150 per month, month after month, yet they often don't grab the world's headlines.  This one did.

Je pense que ce sujet sort de la politique et de la religion, certes c'est une opinion mais elle est faite pour débattre ou simplement discuter.

I am vey sorry for what happened in Paris. It was an awful act. I had very bad experience living in Serbia with all these things. Innocent people die, get murdered and that is sth we all should fight against. Authorities don't care, 13 years ago it was New York, today is Paris, tomorrow will be some other city. What has been done? Nothing, this is sad. I am very sorry for your lost.

Don't worry Bobcat je ne rentre pas dans les détails religieux justement je les évite, contrairement à la télé. Neil to me you're right. I saw on other countries channels they were following and broadcasting in the day, it's because it's rare in France. The last terrorist attack happened in May 2012 in Toulouse.
