I fell in love with the Arab culture when I was 12. In my opinion, it is the most beautiful language in the world. The various script forms are artistically ornate, especially in calligraphy form. You can witness this inside the Masjids of how majestic and powerful the language is before you eyes.
Science has proven that it is one of a few languages that require both hemispheres in word recognition which other languages use one side. This scientific finding make Arabic challenging but cognitively interesting. As a left handed person, I love writing right to left. The sounds in Arabic when spoken, puts tingling sensation all over my body.......I am happiest when I can hear this language. I am "home" when I can speak Arabic.
