I watched a vedio just now. In this vedio,it seems like majority of American like Orange Chicken and a spicy soup with noodles and pork. But I'm sure Orange Chicken is American Chinese food.Have you ever tried native Chinese food? Do you like it?
I really like Chinese foods! I can't decide! haha
As with western food in China, it's not exactly the same as the actual food back home. Pizza in China doesn't resemble pizza in Italy either. And chain restaurants will often adapt their menu to accommodate more stubborn eaters.
Takeaway Chinese food in the Netherlands doesn't resemble Chinese food in China either. But if you want real Chinese you can still get it in the bigger cities at proper restaurants and not at glorified Chinese snack bars.
i think the chinese food here is adapted to fit Western tastes and it is doubtful whether is resembles proper chinese food. There are chinese areas in the most important cities such as London and San Francisco where perhaps more authentic chinese food is served.
A friend of mine of chinese origin made chinese roast pork and it was really delicious. I do like crispy duck pancakes as well.
