There's a lot of Web sites that'll help you learn words and keep reminding you of these words, but from my own experience I think it only works with nouns like (Lion, tree, Religion), but when it comes to other type of vocabulary it's better to learn it in a context because each word has different meanings in different situations, so it's better to learn it in a specific situation so you would be able to use it rather than memorize it in a solid status, and the best way of doing that is by watching movies, youtube videos, BBC news, and similar things because you'll learn the word in a context and by this you'll start to use it in the same situations which makes it easier to use it in other ways .

well, i use web page called quzilet. There are plenty of ways to learn new words and not get bored.  And there is even good app for tablet so it is cool)
