I'm especially curious if there are any people on here who are from outside the US that have one way or another gotten into college football and if so who they root for.
To any Americans watching the championship game right now, who are you rooting for?
Yeah, I have no dog in this fight, but I was rooting for Oregon too. We'll see how the second half goes.
Congrats to Ohio State for winning the first national championship of the college football playoff era. I was impressed with the performance of Ohio State's relatively inexperienced quarterback Cardale Jones who lead his team in its final 3 games towards the national championship. Well, everybody on Ohio State's team seemed to play well when it counted the most. I think Urban Meyer is worth more to Ohio State than the 20 million dollars he has received from the university over the last four seasons as head football coach.
"Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL classes are POINTLESS" - (Cardale Jones, Twitter post) October 6, 2012
Yes, Cardale, you're right. You don't need to play school when you can play football.
I want Oregon to win a football national championship, so I'm rooting for them. But they are now down 21-10 at halftime. I hope they can rally in the second half and win the game.
