Not all Bachelor degrees are three years, some are four, depending on the university and the subject. A first degree is a Bachelor's.

When you have your first (Bachelor's) degree, then you can, if you wish, go on to do a postgraduate degree. This is called a Masters, and is usually a year.

By the way, your question should be

'What do you call a five-year degree in the UK?'

I hope our answers have been helpful. Please ask if there's anything else you need to know.

I believe bachelor's degrees are usually three years but you might take a placement year, take a break, enter after Level 1 or study it part-time. Some courses may be four years by themselves. After graduating, you can do another bachelor's degree, a master's or sometimes go straight to a PhD.
