I realize that the most people in Italki have amazing photos of themselves... everybody is beautiful, but in sure that in the real life the most of the people look very different.
It's true... the mere sight of the real me traumatises children and shatters mirrors.

hello I don't know if my photo should be considered beautiful but It is me who is portrayed in the photo, I chose that because of the glasses (security reasons). Now I am a little older but I haven't changed that much. What you wrote is right and not only here. In sites for dating is true also and some even have false profiles and deceive some innocent victims. For sites like this is not that bad because we are only here for academic purposes.
