Did you mean idioms or sayings (axioms, aphorisms, adages, proverbs)?

Anyway, here is my from English "loosley" translated into my languages (Korean, Persian, Spanish).

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

제 눈에 안경이다.

زیبایی چیست؟

"La belleza está en el ojo del que mira." o "La belleza depende del color del cristal con que se mira."

Ok. The Persian translation is not accurate.  But it is what the expression means to me and what I can translate.  :)

Is this a "native" idiom? Translated from Persian? If so, it would be fun to include the original language with its English translation.

*Attempt always is stronger than destiny.

*Attempt is always stronger than destiny.  (more natural)

I will add one later.  I am actually working... well goofing off instead of working!  :)
