The reflexive personal pronoun себя (oneself) refers to the subject of the clause in which it is located. This pronoun occurs in five of the six cases, each indicating different ways the action of the subject is reflected back to it.

На дверях магазина написано: "К себе" или "От себя".
Хорошо бы было, если бы действительно так писали, но у нас сейчас пишут по другому: "На себя" и "От себя", даже меня, носителя языка, это приводит в полный ступор - что делать с дверями: толкать их или тянуть к себе.
