I live near Boston, in New England, in the northeast part of the United States.

We had a blizzard here Monday night with an accumulation of 80 cm. of snow. Last night it began snowing again and it is continuing now, we are probably going to get another 30-50 cm.

We own a snowblower--a gasoline-powered machine a little bigger than a lawnmower and it started up right away and worked well. So far we haven't lost power or heat.
