Sometimes it takes some time to find a language partner, but you can learn a lot from just hanging out in the Discussions Forum. You could also take a lesson from a Community Tutor or a Professional Teacher. Good luck :)

  One may begin  by  reading  (if one is studying English)  most of the DISCUSSION   topics and the ANSWERS  topics.

 That is how you can begin to see what is being done.

  Look for a language partner  or a teacher  to tet lessons from.

You can do many things on italki! :) You can:

-Use this space to write short entries and have people correct them and give you feedback.

-You can find exchange buddies and practice with them.

-You can read/post on the 'discussion/answers' threads and learn from other people.

-Have paid sessions with tutors and professional teachers.

-You can of course also help by answering/correcting other people's entries as well.
