one of the most beautiful questions to ever ask oneself.
when the student is ready, the teacher appears...
if your questions is pure, you're in for quite a ride... ;)
Have you ever thought about not thinking?
Maybe.. We live because what is the alternative? Death? But, what is death? We live because we have attachments to people and there are things that bring us joy. We live because 'life,' is short. We may encounter hardships and at the end of the day, through the ups and the downs, the only thing in our control is how we respond to these hardships. Although, some of us face pain and living is like dying every day, we see 'the light at the end of the tunnel.' As tumultuous as life can be, we live because we have hope.
"Too often we ask 'What can life offer me?" but, perhaps we should be asking is, "What can I offer life?" (I forgot where I heard/read this). A purpose, however small makes life worth living.
Yes, and I have not found any real answer to that question yet.
@Ali there is a lot of beauty in the world, actyually I believe there is more beauty than ugliness, butthe ugliness is more noticeable because it shocks us and scares us. But if we look for the beauty, we see it everywhere.
