But, as Khouloud said, this is not a dating site.This is primarily a language learning site.

People here should interract socially in relation with learning languages.

Thanks for your comment Mr Philippe ! Of cours I'm not saying that it's not possible to meet new people  and I respect those who met on italki it's nice , but it shouldn't be the main reason, that's what I meant to say :)

OK I agree with you but.... One day I said the same thing to one of my student and she told me that she met her boyfriend on Italki. Anyway it's always possible to alert the Italki people in charge in case of harassment.

Oui, mais enfin ça marche dans les deux sens : je me suis adressé aux femmes qui déclarent chercher une correspondance linguistique et n'a pas eu de réponse.  Bien sûr, elles sont en droit de sélectionner à qui elles veulent parler, qu'on présume partager leurs intérêts, mais est-ce qu'elles soupçonnent que tous les hommes cherchent un rapport au-delà de la langue ?
