Have a nice day dear italki members!
I like traveling more than anything else in my life. In this regard I'd pretty like to take an interest what a "place" in the World is your most favorite. There are a great number of different places (from a tiny spot to a cosmopolitan city, a big country and a continent in general) with their own especial culture and customes, rules and traditions, nature and habitants. It can be "your place" as your "piece of/for heart" or your "piece of/for soul".
Share your "small secret" what is your favorite place (or places) where you like to be at or like to stay in.
I am also a travel addict! I have been to 33 countries and lived in 4 for some time.Next week I am going back to China to teach there and hopefully I will be able to travel some more too.Recently my favourite countries have been Laos, South Korea and Taiwan. However I also love Italy,Spain, and Ireland. And of course the UK my home country.
That's right! We can consider these like that!
Yeah, that was my first time in Italy which gave me a great amount of beautiful and wonderful impressions.
I'll definitely come back to that "Sunny land".
No, I haven't. So this way I should immediately check in on the map.
Thanks Ruthi for joining.
I've been only to 6. Of course this number is far less than your 33! I'm in the beginning of the way to explore beauties of our amazing Earth))
Since my first visit to Turkey Istanbul's taking the first place of those cities that I like most. And holds its rank so far.
I'm also astonished and inspired by Italy, especially Cinque-Terre and Genoa which are worthy a visit!
I absolutely agree with you. The verb 'to travel' can be compared to 'to exchange'. While travelling you give and exchange with the others what you have!
That's cool! Was that your first time in Italy? 'Cause if yes you should come back again soon and see the south of this stunning nation! There are a lot of things to see and live here, and you could also live an unforgettable moment meditating in front of the sea of the Amalfitan Coast. Have you ever heard about it?
I'm happy for you! That's another good reason for travelling :)
Thanks for your participation Rita!
The most valuable in this "exciting hobby" is you do different kind of "exchanges" including your positive energy, your good mood and your "friendly" smiles! I was in Italy in august last year in particular in Milan, Genova, Cinque-Terre and Verona. I had a great desire to visit Como and see the lake there by my own eyes but unfortunately I didn't have enough time to do that. I was so much amazed of your sunny and warm weather and of course the beauty of Mediterranean coast didn't leave me indifferent. I was spending a few times over a half an hour for meditation in front of the "sea face". Incredible!
And thanks to my addiction I always make new friends! And we keep in touch all the time. Hopefully we will meet again and more than once =)
