Just like to talk about the natural thing that no one want to hear.

We all know that small manners say a lot of a person. 

Honestly, I don't think that farting openly or discreetly doesn't really say that much about a person.
There tends to be different etiquette regarding factors like age, gender and culture which gives farting different levels of taboo.

For example:
It's very different if a 14 year old boy farts and doesn't care as opposed to a 30 year old woman farting and not caring.
It doesn't say that much about the boy because he is young and he is a boy, most societies almost expect that kind of behavior from him, so he is not really showing that he doesn't care.
However, in most societies it would be taboo for the 30 year old woman to fart. Firstly, it's would a lack of femininity. Secondly, she's probably considered too old to not have control of her bodily functions. For her to fart openly and not care would show a strong disregard to social norms and would definitely say a lot about her.

I wonder if Rousseau or Kant thought about it. :D
