Which alphabet should I learn first and which is the most used in modern Japanese. Thank you!
The standard procedure is to start from hiragana. Then, work on katakana. If you work hard enough, it should take about two weeks for each. Don't worry about kanji immediately. That will come to you in time as you expand your vocabulary. It helps to start on simple and common kanji characters.
Hiragana! You can read anything in hiragana
then start on kiragana and kanji will come over time.
I recomend Dr.Moku's hiragana to learn, it only takes about 2-3 hours
I have stayed in Tokyo .
I think you should learn Hiragana at first.
Hiragana is the base of Japanese.
