I've recently heard one interesting quote from one quite strange mate that was "our life is getting expensive, and people are turning into "cheapo""
What's your point of view on this statement?
I completely agree with the quote. These days is hard to find peple who are firmly with their beliefs. Instead, they tend to sell themselves to others just for some money. In my country is common to see things like that with politicians and the society. People change their ideas about politics if they recieve some monetary help, specially when they have to give their votes.
On the other hands, is a common trend to think that money is the most important thing. Everybody seems to live only to get more and more money, forgetting about other even more important things. Seems like money is becoming the key to happiness when it's not, and people usually don't realize about this until extreme situations.
Thanks for joining Kiyama.
I've been thinking of it for a quite long period of time. I'm inclined to agree with you. Looking around at all who we are surrounded by, we eventually make a conclusion that quote is abssolutely right.
I'd like to add that currently Humans are coming by way of devaluation of human values also.
Nowadays "all can be sold, all can be bought". And human's honor, dignity and even "conscience"
