What is the best way to become confident in a language?

a) how do you deal with your language mistakes?

b) how do you deal with criticism/corrections from others? 

c) has anyone ever laughed at you?

d) what gives you courage to be outhere every day speaking a language you don't feel comfortable in?

a) Just move on

b) Take corrections as help rather than criticism

c) Yes, just laugh with them

d) Pain is progress

A. Mistakes are your best teacher. If you are lucky enough to have somebody point them out to you thank them and remember what you did wrong so you don't do it again. 

B. Although it makes you feel like an idiot sometimes, you need criticism to improve. Just remember the people critizing you are helping you. If somebody is making fun of your effort to learn thier language than I suggest finding some new friends to hang around. 

C. You have to have a sense of humor when learning. Some mistakes are just funny. The person is probably not laughing at you, just somthing funny you said. I get laughed at all the time. Laugh with them. 

D. Don't be afraid of mistakes. Nobody has ever learned anything without making mistakes. The goal of mastering the language motivates me to go out and keep trying.
