I watched “Kimetsu no Yaiba” (Demon Slayer) Ki = ONI,Ogre, demon metsu = To perish no = to Yaiba = blade, sword This is a very popular animation for children in Japan now. Translated as “demon slayer “in English. However, if you express the meaning of Japanese directly, the title is the “Blade to destroy the japanese Ogre(Japanese ogre = ONI in Japanese)” First, I afraided it. but Hero is kindly ,pure, and always love his family. also ,ONI’s past is sadly story. The hero also is sad when he hears the sad past of ONI. If you know, please tell us what you think.
