A bullfrog (Part 1) I had never seen such a big frog before I met this one. That day, while I was having a jog along the lake where I lived nearby. It is not unusual to encounter a toad or a general frog, jumping or crawling around the lakeshore. But as I spotted this guy, I stopped with a bit shocked. A clear loud splash attracted me and I found that there was right lying a huge frog——I was pretty sure it was the most biggest I had ever seen. With two big round eyes and a pointy mouth, it stayed in the grass and water covered its half bottom body. Its back was spotted with black and gray dots. In my experience, the native frogs in China never look like this. They have bright green strips instead. Moreover, they are impossible to have such a gigantic shape. Meanwhile, it was not a toad. Toads always have ugly bumps on their skin that often make people feel scared and disgusting. So I wondered what it exactly was. Then I took out my smartphone and looked up the phrase——huge frog on Internet. Soon I learned it was a bullfrog. "Such a thing is a bullfrog?" I said to myself. Indeed, I had eaten the meat of bullfrogs before, but I never saw a living one and never knew what it looked like. The explanation said bullfrogs were found in North America, but these years they are introduced by many counties for their economic value——the meat. But at the new habitats, there are not natural enemies and they have become terrible biological invaders. China is also not an exception. "Will I capture and take it home?" I murmured. Of course, I didn't want to kill it, but if I took it home, how could I deal with it? All in all, leaving it here was not correct. So I looked around and found a plastic bag at a trash can. When I came back, the bullfrog was disappeared. "A clever guy," I thought. As I started walking away, there was something moving a bit in the grass near the water. A bullfrog:
