My name is Ninel. it is very rare name. Usually if someone hear it for the first time they think it's a French name like a "Shanelle". But they are wrong this name has nothing to do with French. It is communist one. My grandmother was a active communist and also she's an Ukrainian. Therefore when my Dad was shocked by the premature birth of his daughter, he had no idea how named his first born child. Grandmom emideatly helped him by giving him the name which was close to hers one Nina is Ninel. My Dad said to my Mom :"I've got the wonderful name for our daughter, read Lenin backwords " Mom did not realize right away what did he mean, but a short time over she was a lite bit shoked of the idea that he had offered. Even if she was a little surprized of it she egreed with easy. Over that time everybody call me Ninel, but sometimes some of them do not remember it that's why they call me Nina. Very closed friends use it with a diminutive-hypocoristic suffix Ninelchonok. In past I hated my name becuase I belong to Asian , and it 's to long to describe to surprised people why my pearents named me with a Russain name. Now I am ready to answer shortly them.
