I'm not an impulse purchaser most of the time; I was raised to be careful when it comes to spending money. I do, however, know a lot of people who have the tendency to purchase impulsively.
I think that impulse spending can be enjoyable and pleasurable at the same time and also addictive and regrettable.
We should consider that it is not only our own inclination to shop impulsively, and that other factors also influence our thought patterns and decision making.
Retailers often use manipulative marketing strategies to tempt us to buy unnecessary goods, but we can't blame them alone, we should be aware and wise enough to make the right decisions.
Hi There.
I tried to respond from my mobile device. This is the way I would phrase it. I want to complement you on your use of the first person, as well as using the past continuous tense. you can switch from I to we, because your meaning has changed. In the first part you are referring to your own experience, and when you switch to "we" it is nicely done because you are then generalising to best practices.
A tip:
It is never a good idea to start a sentence with "but" and however is sometimes more suitable.
***is it ok that I started my writing with the I pronoun and then switched it into the WE pronoun?***
