Diwali is one of the most popular festivals in India. It is a festival of light celebrated by Hindu, Sikh, and Jain communities across the world. Its date is determined by the Hindu calendar, and it is mostly observed in October and November month, which is also harvested season in India.  It is a festival of a new beginning and the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness. On Diwali, people light their home with a row of lamps, and worship the goddess of wealth Lakshmi. Hindu also worship cows on the second day. At this festival, many lights and lamps are lit on the streets and houses, and people visit their relatives and friends and have feasts. People also like to enjoy fireworks on Diwali.
