Here are a few expressions my students picked up in class this week: I was thrown into the deep end when I started my new job. Having an English teacher again jolted me into action as I hadn't spoken English for over a year. That company is a right rip off, they charge me loads of money every year and offer a poor service. I spoke with my counterpart in Germany this week and we set up some new business guidelines. I liaised with the transport company so they could pick up the order in time.
