exercise - https://www.ielts-exam.net/academic_writing_samples_task_1/1117/ The line chart illustrates the number of visitors to four different museums between the years 1980 and 2015. The museums are the Louvre, the Vatican Museums, the London Science Museum and the Shenzhen Museum. Overall, the most visited museums were the Louvre and the Vatican Museum, while the least visted were the Science and Shenzhen museums. The former two increased visitors over the period, whereas the latter two declined and remained reasonably constant respectively. In 1980 the most visited museum was the Louvre with around 8m attending. However, its amount of guests saw just a small increase over the period to just over 9m in 2015 with a dip between 1995 to 2000. Consequently, the second most visited, the Vatican Museum, almost caught up, since it had a drastic growth from roughly 5m to almost the same figure as the Louvre over the years. In 1980, the third most popular was the London Science Museum with 4m attendees. Yet, although the quantity of guests remained stable between 1980 and 1985, it slightly decreased throughout the years from then to just over 2m at the end of the period. Finally, the number of visitors to the Shenzhen Museum surpassed the London one in 1990, despite falling from about 3.8m to 3m. Furthermore, as from 2000, the discrepancy between the two museums just kept growing as vistors to the Shenzhen museum reached, just under 4m in 2015, similar to it's starting figure.
Your introduction is fine, as are some of your descriptions. The most important things you need to do are include an 'overall' paragraph and also numbers from the graph.
