I can always find a topic for me to write in this group, which is very beneficial for me to practice my writing. I started seriously writing on July 20 th last summer and I think I made certain progress in writing. At first I set my English level at a 1, but a native English speaker said that my English level was b 1 at least and suggested that I reset it at b 1. In fact, I really don't know what level my English is at. But one thing I undoubtedly trust is that as long as I keep learning, my English level will definitely improve continuously.

I can always find a topic to write about in this group, which is rather beneficial for me in practicing my composition. I started writing seriously on July 20th of last summer, and I think I have made some definite progress in it. At first, I naturally set my English level at an A1 rating, but a native English speaker said that my true English level was at least a B1, as well as suggested that I should reset it to there. In fact, I really don't know what level my English is at, or what it should be, but the one thing that I undoubtedly trust is that as long as I keep learning, my English level--whatever it is--will certainly and continuously improve.
Hi, Jack. Good job! Whatever changes I made were merely to allow your sentences to sound more natural to my native ears, to clarify your thoughts, and for ease of reading. My sincerest apologies if I have misinterpreted. I hope that this helps you. While I have limited knowledge of such matters, judging from what I have seen you post here, I would go so far as to guess that you might even be a weak B2! The only thing holding you back, IMHO, is the need to improve your vocabulary, not only to avoid repetition, but also to give voice to your wealth of experience as a mature adult. Anyway, that's my unsolicited “two cents” worth of advice! You should know that although I rarely see the need to edit your posts (you will improve naturally overtime, as you have noted...), I do enjoy reading them as both a window into your consciousness and your improvement in mastering the English language. Best of luck.
