Writing Exercise 287 - WHEN The Mid-Autumn Festival has just gone, a problem of how to deal with the remains of mooncakes has come out. I believe that it concerns many people. I was heard about material resources were scarce in the past many years. Mooncakes were expensive and rare. People had to save up money half a year before the Mid-Autumn Festival to buy the mooncakes. Kids asked their parents,”When will we have mooncakes to eat?” Nowadays, people's lives are better off. We can afford them easily and Mooncakes are not as rare as they used to be. Today, we may ask ourselves ,”When will we eat up the mooncakes?” Me as an example, we have a larger mooncake, a gift from a relative. As you can see in the first picture, it is around 9 or 10 inches and its weight is 0.75kg. I also took a picture of it with a normal size mooncake to make a contrast, so you can intuitively know how big it is. I wanted to unpack the larger mooncake last night, but I was worried about when we would eat up once it was unpacked. That is the problem!

Writing Exercise 287 - WHEN The Mid-Autumn Festival has just finished, so now remains a problem of how to deal with the leftover mooncakes. I believe that it concerns many people. I heard that resources were scarce in past years. Mooncakes were expensive and rare. People had to save up money for half a year before the Mid-Autumn Festival to buy the mooncakes. Kids asked their parents, ”When will we have mooncakes to eat?” Nowadays, people's lives are better off. We can afford them easily and mooncakes are not as rare as they used to be. Today, we may ask ourselves, ”When will we eat up the mooncakes?” To use myself as an example, I have a larger mooncake that is a gift from a relative. As you can see in the first picture, it is around 9 or 10 inches and it weighs 0.75kg. I also took a picture of it with a normal size mooncake for comparison, so you can intuitively know how big it is. I wanted to unpack the larger mooncake last night, but I was worried about when we would eat it once it was unpacked. That is the problem!
