Book recommendation I finished a book which is ” the atomic habit” This book is about how to form good habits in your life. The main point is you should know what person you want to be in the long time. For example, I like reading, I like playing tennis and I like learning languages. But there comes a lot of new things to interrupt me during the reading/tennis/learning period. And sometimes I can’t be concentrated back on what I was doing easily. And it’s easy for me to give up my good behavior in life. So how to deal with this dilemma? The book suggests me how to do habits stacking. First, instead of thinking I’m going to read a book within a week, I can tell myself that I’m a life-long reader. And then, no matter what happened during my reading time, I can easily go back to read my book because I am fond of reading in my life. Second, I can tell myself “ after finish my book 3:00pm today, I will change my sports clothes and then go to tennis court to play with my friends “. That means I need to make it clear about what I will do and how to do. The information is more clearly, the mind will follow the process more easily. Third, if I miss one of my schedule, tell myself it’s okay but I won’t miss it constantly. I will do it immediately in the next time. Last but not limited, recording my routine of every day and try to find good habits and bad habits. And try to use the techniques in the book to make bad habits more difficult and good habits more satisfied. The life-cycle of forming a good habits: Find cue-make it obvious Craving-make it attractive Motivation-Make it easy Rewards-make it satisfied And if you want to avoid bad habits, you can make it difficult, and then slowly you will give up your bad habits. That’s all for today. Thank you in advance.🥰

I love that book too 😍 I barely read any self-help books, but this one is very practical and I can implement it straightaway. Do you have any habits you want to cut or gain?
