I got a postcard to inform me that I needed to renew my driver’s license. At first， I called the Tokai city police station which is located near my house to ask how to do it. A police officer said to me, “Your traffic offenses are bad, You have to take part in the Point system(driving) class (that is) held in the Tokai city gymnastics center. Unfortunately, March is full because of covid 19. You have to attend the lecture in April so that you can renew your driver’s license." I don’t want to wait until April. Last Wednesday, my husband took me (drove me) to the Hirabari testing center to renew my driver’s license. We arrived there at 8:50 in the morning. It has a limit on how many people can enter the building at a time due to the coronavirus. My entrance ticket was for 9:20 in the morning. I had to wait for 30 minutes in the waiting room outside. After entering, I took an eye test and a Driver awareness course for an hour. It finished at half-past eleven. I was tired. Next, we went to a Mini car dealer to ask about an error message. “Headlight range is too high.” A staff member said to me, “ The angle of the headlight has a problem. We will fix the problem in an hour.” It will be covered by your warranty. Imported cars sometimes have/create problems. Anyway, it was free of charge. I was relieved.
