Basically, smartphones control every aspect of our lives. They have many clear benefits, but... Are we aware of the risks of using these technologies? Perhaps, the greatest benefit of smartphones is that they are labour-saving. They help us with our daily routines by a big offer of apps. In addition, they keep us in touch to our relatives and avoid solitude in these pandemic days. What is more, keep us informed in every moment about different issues, and all this huge information fits in your pocket!. However, be aware of apart procrastination and flicking through your socialmedia network, you must struggle with the harassment of big companies as Google. Smartphone addiction, the impossibility to disconnect from work and the lack of traditional relationships are just little issues compared to the stalking problem we are suffering almost without realizing it.

Basically, smartphones control every aspect of our lives. They have many clear benefits, but... Are we aware of the risks of using these technologies? Perhaps the greatest benefit of smartphones is that they save us time. They help us with our daily routines through a variety of apps. In addition, they help keep us in touch with our relatives and avoid loneliness during this difficult time. With smartphones, we can also stay informed about different issues. It’s also worth mentioning that all this information fits in your pocket! There are some downsides though. With these apps, it’s easier to procrastinate and spend time mindlessly scrolling through social media apps. There also is the issue of privacy. By spending time on your smartphone, you’re giving data to Google, Facebook, and other tech corporations. Other downsides include smartphone addiction, a new difficulty in disconnecting from work responsibilities and the profound change in relationships. Most strikingly, the privacy issue pervades our everyday moment, drastically hurting our personal liberty and freedom.
