I ate McDonald’s hamburger with my family. My daughters like because they get toy. In Japan, there are “happy set” in Mc for children. This set includes hamburger, potatoes, juice and toy. The toy changes for a limited time so I should go to McDonald’s for the toy... Are there “happy set” in any other country?

They are called Happy Meals in America. When my son was little, he also liked to get the toys inside! 😄 Also, we call potatoes “french fries.” おいしいですね!

Hi Keiko :) It seems you’ve found a good excuse to keep going to McDonalds :) You can also use ‘have’ or ‘get’ instead of ‘eat’ and it tends to sound more natural. Also I’m from the UK so I put ‘chips’, but in American English you’d usually say ‘fries’. When I lived in Japan I used to live near a McDonalds, and it was always the busiest place in town!
