Yes, it’s not totally wrong but you have an eye to know in deep, maybe you’re talking with someone that in present will be different and for the entire time on social network he hide. To be honest I’m not big fan of friendship and relationship on social network, maybe my mindset, because I’m not able to understand the people beyond a phone or laptop, I can’t. I use this, to approach, commenting photos and posting stories, but I like to eye to eye and then if something will go wrong, I can blame with myself
