Difficult (ironic) translation. I have a phrase that I need help translating. Because of the contrast in the statements, it would be very easy for me to make a mistake in this, but I want to be very sure I get it right. If there is a more powerful way to say this in Korean, with Korean thought behind it, then I welcome those suggestions as well. I don't want you to just survive. I want you to thrive. I want you to live fully, and enjoy life like only a lady who is well loved can do. (Perhaps the first sentence would be better stated as: "I don't want you to merely survive.") I may have another of these types of translations soon if I can't get confidence that I'm thinking correctly about it.

("just survive" - 의미없는 삶,무의미한 그저그런 삶) I want you to thrive. 풍족함으로 삶을 채우세요. I want you to live fully, and enjoy life like only a lady who is well loved can do. 삶을 만끽하세요, 그리고 홀로 사랑을 듬뿍받은 여성이 세상을 살아가듯 인생을 즐기세요. ("live fully" - 삶을 만끽하다") Actually the last sentence "only a lady who is well loved can do" is not clear to me. ^________^

안녕하세요, Here is another version: 단지 살아남기만 하는 것에 머물지 마세요. 부족함 없는 삶을 일궈가세요. 사랑 받는 여성만이 그러하듯이 인생을 즐기고 알차게 살아가세요. -------------------------------------------------- Edit: 풍요로운 삶을 일궈내세요 would be better than 부족함 없는 삶을 일궈가세요.

I don't want you to just survive. 나는 당신이 그냥 그만한 삶을 살기 원하지 않아요. I want you to thrive. (everyday) 나는 매일매일 성장하는 당신을 원해요. I want you to live fully, and enjoy life like only a lady who is well loved can do. 나는 당신이 온전한 삶을 살고, 삶을 즐기며, 단지 최선을 다해 사랑한 한 여자이기를 원해요. Hi Steve, Even if I am not sure what is the difference between 'merely' and 'just'. But I just followed the words makes me something feeling. It was nice words. :)
