Cynics do not believe in the sincerity of human motives. They believe self interest is the prime motivator of human behavior. They are sarcastic and pessimistic. Is it good or bad to be cynical, you asked. I would have to say it is not a good thing. Being in the company of a cynic can be tiresome and irritating.

Hi being cynical is making fun of something or someone or being sarcastic in an arrogant way ,it is mostly a negative thing .
