win a contest hands-down - to win very easily, with little effort to be in sn's chariot - whip to a defeat - I'm not sure about this without the context take revenge ON somebody - to avenge yourself to be an armour of gold - well, it is simply a type of protective clothes that for example Romans wore in battles, made of gold sneak out of - to get out of somewhere without anyone noticing it set eyes on - to see, to spot
