Could you please explain the sentence written in capital letters? " I'm buying a house with my boyfriend soon, because I want to get on the property ladder. I only hope I manage to keep my job. IF THAT GOES, I'VE HAD IT. So I'm not very optimistic about the future"

Hi. "If that goes" - 'that' refers to 'my job'. Another way to word this is "If I lose that" "I've had it" - means "I'm in big trouble" I hope this helps. Tim
