Is this a literal translation? It sounds unusual to me because it has a "medical" tone to it. I'd expect it from a doctor, but no-one else. As a physiological reaction, you could use: "When I heard the price, my lip began quivering." (...out of fear? Shock? Indignation?) "When I heard the price, my face flushed." "When I heard the price, my blood pressure went up."
