I would recommend buying a textbook. Some parts of Japanese grammar I would have never understood without a book.

i'm watching anime with subs and now i know some words)))) sometimes i understand the meanings of speech without subtitles. so I think, it possible. but whatever you need to contact with native speakers of this language
