the pronounciation of "s" part in words I thought the pronunciation of "s" in Spanish was just like the "s" in English word "sir". But while I was listening to my textbook's CD, I found that the pronuncation of "s" was a bit like "sh" in English word "shirt".. And my textbook teaches Spanish which is spoken in Spain. So how to pronounce the "s" in words such as "ser", "lucas", etc.. in Spanish in Spain? Thanks!

La /s/ en castellano es una consonante fricativa lingualveolar sorda, aunque puede variar ligeramente según la posición en que esté en la palabra o sílaba. He encontrado este video que te puede ayudar: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MA9uqMK2qO8
